V3 Campaign Launches New Website

As the Democratic party prepares to nominate their candidate tomorrow, and the Republicans within the next 7 days, the V3 Campaign is now ready to give you unprecedented access to every candidate who seeks your vote.

Starting today, any nonprofit employee, volunteer, funder or friend can--with the push of a button--ask men and women who are running for office to detail how they would partner with and strengthen the sector to achieve their vision for their city, state or the country.

By simply entering your address, the V3 Campaign website will identify all candidates running for office in your community. You can then send the V3 Campaign questions to all of the candidates, to determine which has the vision and understanding required to take full advantage of the vast resources that the nonprofit sector has available.

How You Can Make A Difference

The V3 Campaign will manage a blog to post the candidate responses, allowing visitors to the site to rate the ideas that are submitted. The candidates to whom you send the V3 Question will respond directly to you - all you have to do from there is forward the responses on to us and we will do the rest. This direct connection between candidate and potential constituent is key. They want your vote, we want their ideas. Once the responses are posted, you can leave your feedback on whether or not the response is innovative enough to warrant your vote... and allow others in your community to view it and make that decision as well.

What is so exciting about this advancement is that, for the first time, a candidate who is running for office in a small town thousands of miles from Washington, DC who feels strongly about the important role nonprofits play in society, can share his or her innovative ideas by simply answering the V3 Question. A member of their community can then have it posted on the V3 website, and suddenly nonprofit Executive Directors, employees, volunteers, and other men and women running for office all over America can view, rate, and potentially build on their ideas!

How to Get Answers Right Now

It's so simple to do. Go to the V3 website, enter your zip code, click send a letter, choose who you want to send it to, add a personal message if you wish, and the V3 Question will be sent from your email address! Once a response is received (be it good, bad, or ugly), forward it to responses@v3campaign.org and we will get it up on the soon-to-be-unveiled blog where you will be able to see the responses, rate them, leave your comments, and join in a national dialogue about our future!
